Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.3 is bringing two new S-Rank Agents to New Eridu: Phoenix Reffaella and Severian Lowell. HoYoverse has already confirmed both characters through their official Agent Records, revealing their Attributes, Specialties, factions, and additional story details.
Beyond those confirmed details, Version 3.3 beta data has started to reveal more about how the two Agents could function in combat. Phoenix appears to be built around Attribute Anomaly and a new Anomaly CRIT mechanic, while Severian’s leaked kit focuses on Basic Attacks, dodging, and resource management. None of these beta mechanics should be considered final, however, since HoYoverse can adjust character abilities and numbers before release.
Here is everything currently known about the ZZZ 3.3 leaks, separated into officially confirmed information and details from the current beta.
Disclaimer: Character kits, W-Engines, banner phases, numerical values, and other gameplay details discussed below are based on current beta data or leaks unless explicitly identified as official information. These details may change before Version 3.3 launches.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 new characters
Version 3.3 will introduce Phoenix Reffaella and Severian Lowell; both have been officially revealed by HoYoverse, while their detailed gameplay information currently comes from Version 3.3 beta data.
| Character | Rank | Attribute | Specialty | Faction |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phoenix Reffaella | S-Rank | Fire | Anomaly | Krampus Compliance Authority |
| Severian Lowell | S-Rank | Wind | Attack | Metropolitan Order Division |
The official reveal confirms their basic character information, but their final combat kits and banner schedule have not been officially announced. Current gameplay details therefore come from Version 3.3 beta data rather than HoYoverse’s final release materials.
Phoenix Reffaella leaks
Phoenix Reffaella will join the playable roster as an S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent from the Krampus Compliance Authority. She is also one of Krampus’s Judges, alongside characters such as Banyue, Dialyn, Zhao, and Promeia.

Her official Agent Record provides an unusual piece of lore that has attracted particular attention. An experimental report in her Agent Record describes a subject that is unable to die; when vital signs decline, the body reportedly draws on concentrated Ether reserves and enters a state described as “transcendence.”
That description becomes especially interesting when compared with Phoenix’s current beta mechanics.
Phoenix’s leaked kit
According to current Version 3.3 beta data, Phoenix’s Core Skill can grant Anomaly CRIT-related effects to Attribute Anomaly DMG. The mechanic is currently tied to a temporary Weakened state applied when members of the squad deal Attribute Anomaly DMG.
The leaked version currently includes the following mechanics:
- Phoenix gains 40 Anomaly Proficiency.
- When any squad member deals Attribute Anomaly DMG, the target becomes Weakened for 20 seconds.
- The current Test 1 data gives Attribute Anomaly DMG against Weakened targets a 30% Anomaly CRIT Rate and 15% Anomaly CRIT DMG.
- Once Phoenix’s Anomaly Mastery exceeds 145, each additional point reportedly adds 0.7% Anomaly CRIT Rate to the effect.
- Phoenix can reportedly trigger a Resurrection effect after being defeated and return to battle at 50% Max HP.
Phoenix’s leaked Additional Ability also appears to scale with the number of Anomaly Agents in the squad. When the team contains two or three Anomaly characters, the current beta build increases CRIT DMG against Weakened enemies to 25% or 40%, respectively. The activation condition can reportedly be met when another squad member is an Anomaly Agent or belongs to the same faction.
The exact numbers are still provisional because these mechanics come from beta data rather than the final version of the character.
How Phoenix’s Anomaly CRIT works
Phoenix’s most unusual leaked feature is her interaction with Attribute Anomaly damage. Current beta information indicates that Phoenix’s mechanic applies to Attribute Anomaly DMG associated with Burn, Shock, Corruption, Shatter, Assault, Windswept, and Luminize. However, Disorder is treated separately and does not currently receive the same Anomaly CRIT effect.
If the mechanic remains in the final version, it could introduce another way for Anomaly-focused teams to build around Attribute Anomaly damage.
Phoenix’s leaked Resurrection mechanic
The second major leak surrounding Phoenix concerns her ability to return to battle after being defeated.
Current beta data reportedly gives Phoenix a Resurrection effect after she is defeated and leaves the field. The test version allows her to return at 50% Max HP, with the effect currently limited to once every 300 seconds. The mechanic also parallels Phoenix’s official lore, which describes an experimental subject that is unable to die. This creates a clear thematic connection between her story and the current beta combat mechanic.
Still, the resurrection cooldown, HP restoration, and activation conditions should all be considered beta values until HoYoverse provides the final kit.
Phoenix Reffaella’s leaked W-Engine

A Phoenix Test Engine is present in the current Version 3.3 beta data, but its final name, stats, and passive effect remain unconfirmed. The current test version lists 713 Base ATK and 30% Anomaly Mastery, along with an effect that grants 75 Anomaly Proficiency and increases Fire DMG by 40% for 20 seconds when the squad triggers an Attribute Anomaly CRIT. These values remain subject to change before release.
Severian Lowell leaks
The second new S-Rank Agent is Severian Lowell, an S-Rank Wind Attack Agent associated with the Metropolitan Order Division of New Eridu Public Security.

Severian is familiar to longtime players as Seth Lowell’s older brother, and is also currently the first Agent in Zenless Zone Zero to wield a giant sword, according to current beta information. He was first mentioned in Version 1.1 and later appeared directly as an NPC during Version 2.6, where he was introduced as Cissia’s boss.
His official Agent Record adds another layer to the character, with different members of New Eridu describing him in dramatically different ways. Krampus, for example, has a warning telling its members to avoid conflict with him, while Seth and other Public Security characters provide a more personal perspective on the Commissioner.
Severian’s leaked kit
Current Version 3.3 beta data gives Severian a combat loop built around Basic Attack sequences, reactive dodges, Wind Rider stacks, and Flowing Breath. His kit also includes Gleaming Shadow, which can provide additional automatic dodge interactions, while Perfect Dodges contribute to his Wind Rider resource.
The current Test 1 build includes:
- A 60% CRIT DMG increase from his Core Passive.
- A built-in dodge during part of his Basic Attack sequence when an enemy attack is about to land.
- If the automatic dodge occurs during the early hits of the Basic Attack sequence, a follow-up attack can be triggered automatically.
- Wind Rider stacks that enhance the final hit of certain entry attacks.
- Flowing Breath, which can be generated through specific attacks and Perfect Dodges, has a current maximum of 150 points.
- A Quick Assist interaction through his Riding the Wind effect.
These mechanics are still being tested, so the exact values, attack names, and multipliers may change before Version 3.3 officially launches.
Severian’s Wind Rider mechanic
Wind Rider is one of the central mechanics in Severian’s current beta kit. Each Perfect Dodge grants Severian one Wind Rider stack, up to two. When he enters the field through his Deployment Skill, Chain Attack, or Ultimate, the accumulated stacks are consumed; one stack increases the final hit’s DMG Multiplier by 60%, while two stacks increase it by 300% in the current Test 1 build.
His Flowing Breath resource works alongside this system. Severian can generate Flowing Breath through certain attacks and Perfect Dodges, with the current beta build setting its maximum at 150 points. His Ultimate also reportedly grants 100 Flowing Breath, giving the resource an important role in his combat loop.
These mechanics tie Severian’s defensive timing directly to his offensive rotation, particularly through Perfect Dodges, Wind Rider stacks, and Flowing Breath generation.
The exact values, however, should not be used as final build targets until the character reaches his release version.
Severian’s leaked W-Engine

The current Test 1 beta also contains Severian’s Test Engine. Its listed stats are 713 Base ATK and 24% CRIT Rate, while the passive currently provides 24% CRIT DMG. When the wearer’s Basic Attack hits an enemy, the weapon can also grant 15% ATK and 20% Wind RES Ignore for 20 seconds.
These values belong to the beta build and should therefore be treated as provisional rather than final release specifications.
Phoenix vs. Severian: gameplay differences
Although both Agents are arriving in the same update, their leaked gameplay concepts are considerably different.
| Character | Attribute | Specialty | Current leaked focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phoenix Reffaella | Fire | Anomaly | Attribute Anomaly and Anomaly CRIT |
| Severian Lowell | Wind | Attack | Basic Attacks, reactive dodges and Wind Rider |
Phoenix’s current beta design is built around modifying how Attribute Anomaly damage behaves, making her mechanics particularly relevant to teams that rely on Anomaly effects.
Severian, meanwhile, appears to place more emphasis on execution during combat. His Basic Attack chain, dodge interaction, Flowing Breath resource, and Wind Rider stacks all point toward a more active on-field playstyle.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 banner release date
HoYoverse has not officially announced the Version 3.3 banner schedule yet. While waiting for more details on the two new ZZZ characters, you can also check out our guide to Genshin Impact Version 7.1, “A Rekviem for the Underworld,” covering its new characters, story content, reruns, events, and sixth-anniversary rewards. Genshin Impact Version 7.1
Version 3.2 is currently scheduled to end on October 21, 2026 at 06:00 (UTC+8). If HoYoverse follows its established update cadence, Version 3.3 would be expected around the same date, but the 3.3 maintenance schedule itself has not yet been officially announced.
Current beta and leak reports place Phoenix in Phase 1 and Severian in Phase 2, but HoYoverse has not officially announced the Signal Search order. The phase assignment should therefore remain labeled as a leak-based expectation rather than a confirmed schedule.
ZZZ 3.3 rerun leaks
Rerun information remains considerably less certain than the two new Agents. Current leak reports are split between two possible lineups: Banyue and Cissia on one side, and Velina and Norma on the other. Neither lineup has been officially confirmed, and the exact Phase 1 and Phase 2 assignments remain unknown.
For that reason, players should wait for the official Special Program before treating any leaked Phase 1, Phase 2, or rerun combination as final.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 leaks: What we know so far
Version 3.3 is shaping up around two very different character concepts. Phoenix Reffaella brings a Fire Anomaly identity with a potentially unusual Anomaly CRIT system, while Severian Lowell appears to favour an active Wind Attack playstyle built around Basic Attacks, Perfect Dodges, Wind Rider stacks, and Flowing Breath management.
For now, the most important distinction is that these details come from different levels of certainty: Phoenix and Severian are officially confirmed for Version 3.3, while their detailed kits, W-Engines, and banner information remain subject to beta changes and leaks.
As the beta progresses, additional changes to their kits, W-Engines, banner order, and numerical values may appear. The Version 3.3 Special Program should ultimately provide the definitive information players need before the update goes live.
